Gwen Stefani Biography
Second time parents Dennis Stefani and Patti Flynn had their daughter on October 3 1969 in Anaheim, California, USA and they immediately named her Gwen Renie Stefani. She attended the Loara High School, then the Fullerton College in Fullerton, California before completing her education at the California State University, Fullerton.
For Stefani, the inspiration for glamour and entertainment was drawn from her family that enjoyed the arts even though her parents held white collar jobs in the accounting and marketing industries. Often the family time would be spent listening to old records from favourite artist, Dennis Stefani and Patti Flynn encouraged their Stefani along with her three siblings to engage in music and playing instruments.
In addition to this, Stefani was motivated by her mother to take on fashion design as mother and daughter would spend hours on end making alterations to their outfits so as to come up with new designs. Young Stefani was very active at her school theatre productions and her roles were mainly in musical plays where she could fuse her love for singing with acting. On graduating from college, she took on a job at a fashion clothing boutique with the hope of venturing into a career in fashion design.

Still signed to No Doubt, Stefani took on solo projects in 2004 as she released her studio album titled L.A.M.B, short for Love. Angel. Music. Baby.
