Joe Jonas Biography
When Paul Kevin Millerand Denise Miller bore their second child Joseph Adam Jonas on August 15 1989 in Casa Grande, Arizona, USA they had no idea that their son was destined for a greater life as one of entertainment’s growing acts. His was a family of performers and while his brothers Nick, Frankie and Kevin were fast becoming child singers he was busy playing around and being comical about everything. This often got him in trouble with his parents and tutors who had been hired to give him private classes. Attempts to get the youngster to join him with his well-behaved siblings were futile but his parents kept on insisting that the only way he could change was if he was to be involved in activities organised by the family’s local Wyckoff, New Jersey church.
Although reluctant Joe went on to the church choir rehearsals and after sometime he was tempted to join his brothers who seemed to be enjoying themselves. A brief stint with the microphone was followed by applause by his peers, it was then that Joe knew he could sing and he became a regular at the choir’s performances in the church and in other neighbourhood events. He developed an interest for the guitar and after requesting his parents for guitar lessons he was also given an instrument that became a trademark accompaniment in his performances.
After high school in 1998, Joe opted to follow a career in music and in the process putting his education on hold, he was initiated into a music group formed by his brother Nick and together with Frankie Jonas they named it The Jonas Brothers Band, it went on to become a rock sensation in the 2000’s.
