Kendra Wilkinson Biography
Kendra Wilkinson gained fame and wealth in the most controversial way by appearing as herself in ‘The Girls Next Door’, a show that chronicled the life of the young actress in a relationship with a 78 year old man and two other women who often appeared nude in front of the camera. Kendra Wilkinson was born to Patti and Eric Wilkinson on June 12 1985 in San Diego, California, USA and soon after her birth she was christened Kendra Leigh Wilkinson.
Kendra spent her early childhood in Clairemont with her single mother and sibling Colin after their parents split in 1993. Her life was comfortable as Patti was able to provide for the family, Kendra was schooled at the Clairemont High School where she was one of the most popular girls at school. Her looks attracted a following of guys in the school, something Kendra had no problem with, she often performed at the school games as one of the team’s top players. Her performances pulled a crowd of students who admired and wished to be like her.
It was this love for the spotlight that led Kendra into television immediately she graduated from high school, she made her premiere into stardom in 2004 as the latest love interest of an older star of the ‘Girls Next Door’ series, the show was linked to the famous Playboy Magazine and required that Kendra alongside Hugh Hefner ,Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt play as part of a dating circle living in a mansion under the watchful eyes of a television audience. The show created controversy for Kendra as she was often filmed nude and pictures of her naked in the mansion were leaked to the internet creating a whirlwind of media attention.
Kendra remained unshaken, spending five years in the mansion before leaving and premiering in a reality show titled Kendra, the television series went on air in 2009 and it followed her life after the Playboy Mansion. Despite leaving the Playboy production Kendra continued working with the magazine and she was featured in the 2006 issue.
In addition to television roles Kendra has had some experience in film such as ‘Scary Movie 4’ in 2006, she also had guest roles on ‘Entourage’ and ‘Las Vegas’. Kendra is an accomplished writer and at one time she held a job as a website blog writer.
Kendra hopes to venture into fashion with her own line and she has plans to set up a massage parlour in addition to featuring on television as a sports anchor or reporter.
Kendra has been wife to Hank Baskett since their costly-affair celebrity wedding in 2009 the two are parents of one since the birth of their son in 2009.
