Khloe Kardashian Biography
Khloe Alexandra Kardashian is part of the sexy trio group that is the Kardashian sisters. She popularly goes by the name Khloe Kardashian but recently added on a third name, Odom, after she was wedded to famous American sportsman Lamar Odom. Born to Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian on June 27 1984 in Calabasas, California, USA she has lived in a life of luxury and media spotlight following her father’s role as a famous celebrity attorney. Growing up she was always scrutinized for being the biggest out of her sisters, Kim and Kourtney and on many occasions she was referred to as the giant of the Kardashians for her height.
However Khloe kept on with a strength that defied her haters and took on modelling, she was greatly successful at it since her previously talked about physique turned out to be a gold mine for fashion designers. Her fame rose even more when in 2007, after controversy over her family in the media she was cast on a reality show that was meant to chronicle the life of the three sisters. The show titled ‘Keeping Up With The kardashians’ premiered in 2007 and caused a whirlwind of action within the American television viewers. Everyone was keen to follow on the everyday lives of the celebrity family and Khloe Kardashian became a household name. The show received very high reviews and became one of the most watched television shows in the U.S.
In the same year Khloe was put under media glare after a stint with the police that saw her put under lock-up for hours and a following controversial release back to her family only served to raise the eyebrows of a very keen public. The reason for this 2007 arrest and jail time was attributed to drunk driving after the star had attended a high end socialite party in Los Angeles. After court proceedings she was ordered to attend a rehabilitation clinic under the supervision of the court.
Khloe is an aggressive entrepreneur and she has used her fame to establish clothing lines and designer fragrances together with her sisters and her husband. The celebrity’s latest venture is in a designer perfume called ‘Unbreakable’ released to the market in 2011, the perfume was a shared production with her husband. Khloe is also linked to fashion lines like Virgins, Saints & Angels, SoHo, Bebe, K-Dash and Kardashian Glamour Tan. She and her sisters are however popular with their Miami high-end designer shop called D-A-S-H, a boutique that serves both high end clientele and strives to provide cheaper quality clothing for the medium and lower classes. The shop is also featured in the sisters’ ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ and most of their clothing is worn by the trio on television interviews.
Khole is known for having numerous celebrity friends and her circle consists of names like Paris Hilton and Lauren London. She is a frequent figure in expensive parties in Los Angeles and Miami and is often in the company of her friends and large family including her biological and half siblings.
She is the co-author of Kardashian Konfidential, a book that gives an inside view to the lives of the trio. She is an animal rights campaigner and has appeared on campaigns for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, PETA.
