Lucy Pinder Biography
Lucy Pinder is a controversial model born Lucy Katherine Pinder on December 20 1983. She is of British descent and was raised in her birth town of Winchester, Hampshire, England, UK. She came from a middle-class family and grew up in a normal, quiet and uneventful neighbourhood. It was discovered early in her education that she was very intelligent and she passed all her subjects at school with ease. Her grades were exceptional and as an interested student it seems her life would be no more exciting than it already was.
By the time Lucy was a teenager she had begun facing bullying and constant negative attention from her peers and classmates due to her large breast size. At school she was teased and laughed at and so to hide away from it she put her attention in the only thing she knew, books. Her performances soon earned her the respect of her peers.
In 2003 Lucy’s life took a turn when she got an offer to shoot for a magazine. Not having any experience or previous interest in the art she decided to go for it and soon realised that her career laid in modelling. Lucy dropped from school against her parents advice and took on to modelling fulltime.
Her first modelling gig was with a UK newspaper called ‘The Daily Star’. Her pictures were in high circulation in the media and modelling agencies and magazines came in with contracts to sign her under their label. By then she had already gathered a keen fan base and was regarded as one of the sexiest women in the UK. She was featured in top UK magazines like Fast Car, Loaded, Redline and Maxim.
From 2003 to 2009 Lucy’s career was on an upward curve as she kept on modelling for big UK designers and appearing in numerous adverts. Her entry into television came when she appeared in reality shows as well as soccer shows. She was featured on ‘I’m Famous And Frightened’ in 2004, ‘Wags and Glamour Girls’ in 2007 and ‘Hotel Babylon’ in 2009.
She appeared on the famous Big Brother UK series for a week in 2009. The self-titled diva and glamour girl has had quite a number controversies for her public nudity. She was once accused of having double standards after she had refused to pose nude at the beginning of her career. She cited a good-girl attitude and upbringing that did not allow her to appear topless on magazine covers.
Later on in her career the diva model appeared on the covers of UK sports magazines half nude despite her earlier refusal to strip for the cameras. She justified her actions by insisting that her breasts were only half exposed and that did not count as being completely nude.
Lucy Pinder loves hanging out at the beach and she still maintains her simple girl lifestyle despite being a glamour girl and diva. She would rather spend time at home and cook in jeans and a t-shirt rather than spend time at the club.
She has done extensive campaigns for needy children around the world and has raised millions for the cause using her celebrity status.
